Professional Bio
Cristina Merino was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a coordinator and adjunct professor at St. Francis College. She started working as a writing tutor and reading comprehension coach at St. Francis College in 2022 after she graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in creative writing. In 2024, she graduated from The New School with an MFA in creative writing and a concentration in nonfiction. She is immersed in the art of writing personal essays. Her birthplace, bilingualism, education, and music have been the center of inspiration and imagination for her writing.
